As promised, here are some pictures of my trip antiquing.
This is a huge home turned into an Antique shop. Although some things were not antique it was still fun to look at and remember. I kept all the pictures clickable so you could get a closer look at the items.
These aprons look huge, don't they?
This room was an assortment of all types of things. *sigh* I wished I would have gotten a pic of the children's toys that were in the corner. Notice the window to the right. I am assuming those large wire looking sock shapes are sock dryers, maybe? Hmmmm....if anyone knows for sure please feel free to let me know.
Most of the rooms were set up as if someone had just left them, such as this one.
I thought these mother/daughter photos were lovely.
My next venture was on to but what else? These little darlings.
This was my favorite, but I would not pay the asking price and continued to look. this was getting difficult for me because we were upstairs and the floor was creaky. Ever so often when I would step on board that creaked loudly, my stomach would turn. I hate that feeling. I was hoping not to fall through the floor. Thank the good Lord He didn't let me!
This is the one I finally chose. Very pretty, don't you think? It was the least expensive of all.
This room had clothing much like that of today, I thought. I didn't take a pic of the basket of patterns. Some of those were very interesting. Afterthoughts, huh?
This is one of those retro-rooms. Check out the canisters and dessert dishes. These kind of remind me of Brady Bunch days.
This is the only place I went on this particular day. I hope to visit some others in the near future. I have a few items on my mind that I want to search for. I will try to remember to take my camera.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I also purchased a picture from one of the rooms. Can you guess which one?

Oh, ya mean that's not YOUR house! LOL That place looked right up your alley. What a cool place to knock around and search for finds! Sounds like a wonderful day - one I might be able to have some day only if I left the Vikings and DaHubby home! *wink*
What a fun day of antique shopping that must have been! You picked a beautiful tea cup. I think you bought the picture of the lady holding her baby in the rocking chair- that's my guess.
I agree with Melanie - you bought one of the mommy pictures- but she was specific.I wasn't going to be. *L* I'm too chicken.
Those are indeed sock or stocking driers for by the fire place or stove. I've seen them especially for winter socks, but can't imagine that they couldn't be used for other seasons, as well. :-)
Oh - that would be my kind of place to 'snoop' around. I would have to have some money though, because I know I would love to buy something :) We don't have neat places like this in our city *sigh*...Would have to drive to Jerome or Bisbee....
Thank you so much for sharing your fun outing...
Blessings to you and yours.
Your teacup is so pretty! Thanks for the pictures of this unique antique shop. I love looking through them, too.
Oh, that looks like my kind of place, Debbie! So many wonderful treasures! Your trip upstairs reminded me of a few weeks ago when I went antiquing. The upstairs floor was also very squeaky, I quickly came downstairs..LOL

Looks like you had a great time my sweet friend.
What are those jugs out front? My Grandma has three or four of them! Heavy, empty, and in the basement collecting spiders.
Well, I think we'd be great shopping buddies in real life. Those are my kinds of places!
Thank you for your prayers for my husband and me this week. We appreciate it so much.
Okay so??? Which one did you buy? I think it's one of the mommy ones too... :)
Glad you had fun! I woulda had a lot of fun there too!!!
Good afternoon Debbie!
I'm just taking a little break from working/cleaning around the house and wanted to say HI!
We have some "important" people (meaning those who have the means to donate to our organization) coming to tour our home and meet our foster sons on Monday so we're doing some deep cleaning in addition to our regular cleaning and yard work. It's a lot but it sure feels good when it's done.
Well, guess I'll go see what a few other people are up to today and then get back to work.
I hope you're having a GREAT day!!!
I LOVE YOU!
Marilee
I think you bought the picture with the tea cups. If not, at least you wanted to! LOL
Wonderful shop!
Here via Comfy Denim. Nice blog! :o)
We have a winner!!! :)
I bought the one with the teacups and teapot. Of course it is a country looking piece, but I plan re-mat it? (is that a word?) I actually think it is a Home Interior picture. She wanted lot more for it, but I ask if she would take less and ta da, she did.
*note to myself* always remember to ask if they will take less. :)
I wanted the mother/child pics also, but....... *sigh* only so much money to spend....
